The French were just starting their online shopping for Christmas in late November, indicates a study from ComScore, which was carried out in France, England and Germany.

French online shopping is done slightly later than in England, whilst the Germans tend to leave it to the last minute. In France, the traffic for online shops progressed by nearly 20% in the third week of November, a figure that had been seen in England a month earlier. The traffic to such sites began to increase in Germany much later.
